Calculus
has appointed Clemmie Vaughan as a non-executive director on the Board, starting immediately.
 
Vaughan has an asset management track record of investing globally across equities, bonds, real estate, digital currencies, credit, and gold, the firm said in a statement. She spent 17 years with Ruffer, most recently as chief executive officer and partner at the firm. She is a former NED of Electric and General Investment Fund, an OEIC invested in an international portfolio of companies.
 
Vaughan said: “CG Asset Management is a business I have long admired. It has a strong and successful investment philosophy, and I am thrilled to have been asked to serve as a non-executive director and chair-elect. I look forward to joining the board at what is a very exciting time for the CGAM business.”
 
Welcoming her to the firm, Alastair Laing, CEO of CG Asset Management added: “Clemmie Vaughan is joining at an exciting inflexion point in CGAM’s story. The firm is owned via an Employee Ownership Trust and all portfolio managers are significant shareholders and fund investors, which ensures interests are directly aligned with clients. CGAM continuously strives to lower fees, even on closed funds, to protect investors.

International law firm,  has appointed new partner Nicolette Bostock. She is based in London. Bostock is joining the firm from immigration boutique Laura Devine Immigration.

Bostock advises on issues relating to international movement. She has worked with private individuals, multinational organisations, brands and family offices.
